The developers, those often scorned and "forgotten" figures behind the
soaring skyscraper projects without whom these buildings would
not even have risen to the NYC skyline in the first place.

They may sometimes employ a rather straightforward approach to the
worlds of building design and real estate financial reality, but they,
nevertheless, merely follow their own "vision", just like the architects
follow theirs -- and the two don't necessarily have to conflict.

Here is a listing of the developers -- either developer companies proper
