I am based in England and would appreciate any help anyone can offer on the
origin of two original architects sketches that I have had in the family for
over 70 years, all I know is they are by Cross and Cross (as they are signed)
it has been suggested that they are the early proposals for
20 Exchange Place NYC. Can any one help me out,
email me if you are interested in me sending you pictures by email. They are
not plans, but really detailed and actually very beautiful, I hope someone
can help.

I have no idea, although the first indeed seems to have features
that link it to the CBFT Building at 20 Exch. Pl. Also the adjacent
building seems similar to the one in the early rendering for an
extra-tall CBFT design. ED
