Does anyone know of a skyscraper in New York with preferably the lift (elevator) on the outside of the building or with windows and a NY skyline view as it travels up the inside?? We're hoping to acheive a specific shot for a BBC documentary (not about Skyscrapers I might add).
Please email me as soon as possible if you can help.
I agree. Let's not steal customers away from this forum.
Anyway, I think I've seen a lift hanging out of the Trump International Hotel on Central Park West.
I'm not absolutely positively sure, but one corner of the building was carved out to accomondate the capsule-like lift and its path. My impression is that
everything about the building is kind of dark and metallic,so I can't remember if the capsule had got a glass to look out, but then what's the point if it
hasn't?
Just to make sure, I'll go try the stuff this evening if I can.
Thank you for the neat website!
There is a building at the SW corner of Broadway and 34th St. that has elevators with windows to the outside. But the view of the skyline from there isn't very spectacular since it's only 7 stories.
