I am doing a Masters-project on NYC architecture in film. Although I am quite
familiar with New York, questions do arise when trying to determine locations
and buildings used in films. The fact that buildings in films sometimes have
no relation to reality makes it rather difficult.
Right now I am having some queries re. "The Devil's Advocate". In the film
Al Pacino works in a building somewhere in the 10005 area. It's called
'Penta Plaza' in the film and looks similar to the 'Schermerhorn Row' (modern
blackish mirrorglass facade). In the film Pacino's office has a roofterrace
with water running over the edge of the building (but I imagine this is only
a computer image) and you can almost reach out and touch the columns around
the rooftop of the Morgan Bank Building.
I would appreciate if you could help me solve this problem. Thank you.
Yours Sincerely,
Johanna Olsen
