Are there any plans to build massive towering skyscrapers in New York in the
near future?

As far as I know, apart from such undertakings as the
Trump World Tower, the tallest apartment
building in the world, there shouldn't be any, at least publicized, plans for
especially tall 'scrapers around. ED
