hello...good day...dear sir...i'm having trouble with my office bulding design...my site is 1966.6 m.sq...and it'is actually shape like a long trapezium...my problem is...since my site is small...how to relate my parking design...(i have to build 8 stories of basement since there should be 220 parking bays)and the space for basement will be most taken by the ramps.....so my questin is how to inimse the number of columns..so that i would have more parking space and howto minimise the number of basement...any optional??and do my core need to be long since core also will take up space for basemnt??please reply my email as ssoon as possible since i have to resolve this fast..thank you
If the site is small enough so that the ramps are going to take up too much space, a solution sometimes used is to install a car elevator. It's more expensive in the short run than the fixed structure of the ramps, but if it reclaims enough usable floor space, it pays for itself.
Use 25' for module - you can get 3 pkg spaces between - 30' for the other direction - you can get two rows of pkg and a road in between two modules. Figure the core from that by sizing elevator banks within the module. Often you can break the module in the core if the core is self supporting.
