Bertelsmann Tower, the 'new' Durst Tower [link],
and the latest skyscrapers are an example of Deconstructivism. What about adding
this style to this wonderful site ? What do you think about this style ? (By the
way, do you know the height of these skyscrapers ?)

Living somewhat far from NYC, I haven't been at all able to follow
the latest in NYC skyscape development, and thus I'm pretty out in the cold
about which latest "trends" appear in the City's new high-rises. To tell you
the truth, I still have no idea of what the complete (and completed) form and
appearance of, for example, the Durst Tower is / will be.
As I don't have any specific info about the new high-rises of
neo-Constructivist/Modernist or Deconstructivist influence in NYC, I, at
the moment, choose not to make such an expansion.
In principal, the almost anarchic use of exposed structural members and
"blown" structures attracts me, but in practice too often the works have an
air of "overworking" and cluttering of ideas, albeit good ones. I'm more for
simplicity of the ideas and clearly defined deviations from the "norm", such
as Bernard Tschumi displays.
And, nope, I myself don't know these buildings' heights...

As far as I know, the Durst Tower aka 4 Times Square will be 711 ft. and 48
stories high. The building should be topped out by now. To see what it will
look like when it is completed, check out:
