Much has been mentioned about building sway and tuned mass dampers, however for
the physics project I'm currently editing I'd really like some data if anyone
knows of any, so i can include a calculation regarding the damper.
using T = 2pi x root(m/k) where T is time period, m is mass of damper, and k is the spring constant.Can anyone give me the approximate time period of oscillation and size of movement for any skyscraper using a mass damper? (ie. if the damper werent there) or the period of the mass damper itself.
